# Account Settings

After creating an account, you can customize your settings by clicking on "Advanced Settings" in your trading terminal.

**Priority Fees**\
Set custom default amounts for priority fees to improve transaction success on the Solana network. If transactions fail often, increase this value to make your transaction more attractive to validator nodes.

**ℹ️ Explication:** Priority fees are added to the base Transaction Fee to incentivize validator nodes to include your transaction in blocks. This additional fee will be on top of the base Transaction Fee.

* **Amount to buy:** Set a default amount for trades, automatically used unless overridden before clicking "Buy/Sell."

**ℹ️ Explication:** Select the cryptocurrency to send, receive, and amounts for both. The receive amount is calculated based on the send amount and exchange rate unless manually adjusted. The amount to receive is generally calculated based on the amount you wish to send and the exchange rate of that pair. By setting a custom amount to buy, it will automatically be chosen for the amount to send, unless you input a new value before clicking "Buy/Sell".

**Referral Code Management**

* Edit your referral code to share with others and earn rewards through the Rewards program.
* Access this feature in Advanced Settings to update or regenerate your unique referral code.
* Track referral activity and rewards earned in the Rewards page.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://degenfi.gitbook.io/degenfi-solana-trading/start/account-settings.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
